Best of show
Winners of the underwater photo competition “Our world underwater” has been announced.
The “Best of Show” image is this one shown on the left, a very good shot in black and white.
Even if this kind of picture is not one f my favourite, I have to admit that it’s really a good shot with a nice composition.
The 22nd photo-contest “Naturalistes Girona” has its winning photos.
Unfortunately, I wasn’t one of the winners! 
Anyway, as a finalist, my photo “Finding Nemo” has been choosed to represent the month of May in the annual calendar.
Not surprisingly, the jury choosed the phot I’ve sent ” for the jury” , as nobody was an underwater photographer! The other two photos I’ve sent were for sure technically more difficult, but of course it is impossible to know for not-specialists. Anyway, it seems that it happens in many UW photo contests as well: very often it’s easier for a “impressive” subject (like a shark) to be the winner.
